Best Law Firm Rankings USA 2026: Disputes

US disputes is the one field where the specialist guides clearly beat the generalists. It is also the most crowded field in the Law Firm Rankings Report: six rankings are rated in Dispute Resolution alone, more than in any other US practice area. If you only have budget for a few submissions, this is where the choice matters most.
Dispute Resolution, White Collar Crime and Insurance – who leads?
GAR 100 takes Dispute Resolution outright at 9.5 – the highest score of any ranking in any US practice area. Behind it, three rankings share 9.3: Benchmark Litigation, Chambers and Partners and WTR 1000. Legal 500 sits a clear two tenths back at 9.1, which is unusual; in most US practice areas it is level with Chambers.
In Insurance, Chambers leads at 9.3 against Legal 500 at 9.1. In White Collar Crime the two are exactly level at 9.2 – there is no winner, and presenting one would misread the data. Leaders League appears in all three areas and rates between 5.6 and 5.9, roughly three and a half points below the field.
