Leaders League Austria 2027: Six Rankings Reopened – Submission Deadline 23 October 2026
Litigation, arbitration, employment and white-collar crime are back on the table – filing closes at the end of October
Leaders League has released the submission forms for its third research cycle of 2026. For the Austrian market, six classifications are being updated, and firms can file until 23 October 2026. According to the research calendar, the results are due in the international guides in February 2027.
The six categories now open
Under Best Law Firms, Leaders League is reviewing Commercial Litigation, Competition Litigation, International Arbitration, Labor Law and White-Collar Crime, plus the individual category Best Arbitrators. The employment form as published is headed “Labor & Employment”, while the research calendar lists the area as “Labor Law”. The forms are publicly available at leadersleague.com/en/questionnaires.
How Leaders League assesses firms
Rankings use four tiers: Leading, Excellent, Highly recommended and Recommended. Within a tier, names are listed alphabetically, so there is no internal order. The form asks for matters from the past twelve months, team information and the firm’s own view of the market and its competitors. The submission is only one input among several: Leaders League also draws on interviews, peer feedback and client feedback – and it approaches the client referees a firm names in its own name, not on the firm’s behalf. Leaders League states that participation is free of charge.
Twelve weeks, part of them holiday season
Exactly twelve weeks separate the late-July release from the 23 October 2026 deadline, and a good share of that falls into the summer break. If you need client clearance for matter descriptions, or still have to line up referees, build that list now rather than in October. Completed forms are accepted in German or English.
