JUVE Karriere Austria 2026: Salary and Training Questionnaire – Deadline 12 August
JUVE’s editorial team is again surveying what Austrian law firms offer their trainee lawyers
JUVE Verlag has circulated its Karriere 2026 questionnaire for the Austrian market. The survey covers the salaries and benefits Austrian law firms offer their trainee lawyers (Konzipienten) in terms of training and career development. The response deadline is 12 August 2026.
Results will be published in the November/December issue of JUVE Magazin für Wirtschaftsjuristen as an overview of the most relevant business law firms. Ahead of that, JUVE publishes the special edition JUVE Karriere Österreich.
The formalities that trip submissions up
JUVE provides a Word template for download and insists it be used. The completed file must be returned in the same format – PDFs are expressly not accepted. Responses go to oesterreich@juve.de, not to individual editors.
After the deadline JUVE continues to accept material as part of its ongoing research. However, the editorial team can then no longer guarantee inclusion in the current research cycle – firms that want to appear in the overview should meet the 12 August date.
Why it is worth the effort
The careers survey is not a ranking in the classic sense, but it feeds directly into recruitment: for entry-level lawyers it is one of the few reliable comparative sources on pay and training quality in the Austrian market. Firms that do not take part simply do not appear in the comparison – while their competitors do.
There is a second effect: the responses feed into JUVE’s ongoing editorial research on the Austrian legal market and therefore shape, indirectly, the picture the editorial team forms of a firm.
